1:15PM - 2:30PM Breakout Session Three
In this session, a variety of perspectives will be shared on effective and locally ground-breaking initiatives to address housing needs for underserved populations, particularly low-income and homeless individuals and families. Panelists will speak to the need for partnerships between for-profit and nonprofit organizations in order to create successful solutions. Other topic areas will include information on housing rehabilitation, new construction, permanent supportive housing and affordable housing financing. Participants will be challenged to develop sustainable financing concepts that can support long-term housing solutions for low-income and homeless individuals and families.
